Pasta with chicken hearts: a recipe for a budget dish for the whole family

The cook shared a very budget-friendly pasta recipe with fried chicken hearts, vegetables, and tomato paste on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 400 g of chicken hearts
- 3 tbsp of oil
- 1 onion
- 0.5 medium carrots
- 40 g of tomato paste
- 250 g of pasta
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse the chicken hearts well, cut off any excess and cut them in half. Then rinse well again and let the water drain.
2. Heat a frying pan with oil and put the hearts in it. Fry them a little. Then add the chopped onion, fry until transparent, then the carrots and fry everything together until golden brown.
3. Next, add the tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add salt and cover with water. Simmer under the lid until the hearts are tender - about 40 minutes.
4. Pour in the dry pasta and cover with water until it covers the pasta well. The amount of water depends on the pasta, you can add more during the process. Add salt and pepper to taste, cover and cook until the pasta is al dente.
Garnish with herbs if desired!
