Juicy and soft pork ribs with prunes: how to cook a hearty dish
Pork ribs can be cooked with spices and tomato paste. They can also be braised in the oven and cooked on the grill. For an original taste, cooks advise adding garlic, apples, and prunes.
The cook shared a recipe for very soft and delicious braised pork ribs with prunes and spices on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- ribs – 800 g
- prunes – 300-400 g
- spices for meat – to taste
- bay leaf – 4-5 pcs.
- allspice – 4 pcs.
- salt – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the ribs, wash them, and cover with water for 30-40 minutes to remove excess blood. Then rinse again and put them on a plate covered with a napkin. Pat the top with another napkin, removing excess moisture.
2. Sprinkle them with meat spices and rub each rib. Leave for 10-15 minutes and then fry on all sides in a little oil over medium heat.
3. Put the roasted ribs in a saucepan or multicooker bowl. Cover with water (so that it covers the ribs by 1 cm), add salt, bay leaf, and allspice. Simmer for 50 minutes. After 50 minutes, add the washed prunes and cook for another 50 minutes.
These ribs are very soft and delicious!
