How to cook hake deliciously: the fish will be juicy and soft
Hake is a very budget-friendly and tasty fish that can be used to make cutlets and meatballs, and it can also be fried in flour. The fish can be baked with vegetables and tomato sauce.
Cook Polina shared on Instagram a recipe for soft and tasty hake cooked with vegetables and tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
- hake – 900 g
- carrots – 2 pcs.
- onion – 1 pc.
- canned tomatoes – 200 g
- salt, spices – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Clean and cut the fish into equal pieces.
2. Grate the carrots and chop the onion into small pieces.
3. Fry the onion in a preheated frying pan and add the carrots, fry for another 7-8 minutes.
4. Add the canned tomatoes to the vegetables and mix well, cook for another 10 minutes.
5. Put some of the vegetable dressing on the bottom of the baking dish, then put the fish cut into small pieces. Top with the rest of the vegetable dressing and cover with water to the level of the fish.
5. Cook in an oven preheated to 180 C for 40 minutes.
