Homemade pancakes can be a great alternative to bread and pies. To make them airy, you should add baking soda or baking powder or make them with yeast.

Cook Olha Matviy shared a recipe for fluffy yeast pancakes on her YouTube channel, which are made without milk, eggs, sour cream or kefir.

How to cook pancakes without milk or kefir

Ingredients:

  • flour - 260 g
  • dry yeast - 2 tsp.
  • water - 200 ml
  • raisins - 40 g
  • sugar - 2 tbsp
  • salt - a pinch

Method of preparation:

1. For the pre-ferment, mix part of the flour with dry yeast and add sugar and water. Mix. Cover with cling film and leave for 10 minutes.

2. Then transfer the ferment to a bowl, add the remaining flour, water and raisins, mix and cover with plastic wrap again.

3. Heat a frying pan and fry the pancakes.
