Bagels are a delicious homemade pastry based mainly on yeast dough, as well as delicious jam, chocolate, berries, or fruit. This dish is very quick and easy to prepare at home, just choose a good recipe and follow the proportions.

Recipe for bagels

Ingredients:

  • eggs – 2 pcs.
Chicken eggs
  • sugar – 100 g
  • kefir – 100 ml
Vegetable oil
  • oil – 100 ml
  • flour – 550 g
Baking powder for dough
  • baking powder – 1.5 tsp.
  • salt – a pinch

Filling: thick jam, chocolate, cinnamon with sugar, apples, cherries, etc.

Method of preparation:

1. Combine eggs, salt, sugar, kefir, and butter in a bowl and beat well with a whisk until smooth.

2. Add the sifted flour and baking powder to the finished mixture and knead the dough. The dough should be soft and not stick to your hands.

3. Then divide it into 6 equal pieces, place them on a floured surface, and roll out the dough. It should be thin, divide it into 8 more pieces. Put the filling and roll the bagels.

4. Put the finished bagels on a parchment or silicone mat and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes until light golden brown.
