Budget casserole with minced meat for lunch: cooks very quickly

Minced meat, which all housewives have in their freezers, is ideal for preparing a hearty meal. The product can be used to make a very simple casserole. Just put all the ingredients in a baking dish and bake.

The idea of making a hearty minced meat casserole for lunch was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Irina Kozachuk (irina_kozachuk_ ). In addition to minced meat, it also contains mashed potatoes.

Ingredients:

  • 400 g of minced meat (pork)
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 4-5 tbsp of canned peas
  • 2 tbsp of tomato sauce
  • 800 g of potatoes
  • 100 g of milk
  • a piece of butter
  • salt
  • ground black pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.

2. Mash, add butter, milk, and mix.

3. Fry the finely chopped onion in a frying pan heated with oil, add the diced carrots and fry for a few minutes.

3. Add the minced meat and mix thoroughly.

4. When it is fried, season with salt and pepper and add tomato sauce.

5. Add canned green peas at the very end.

6. Put the meat filling in the baking dish and smooth it out.

7. Put mashed potatoes on top, smooth.

8. Bake in a preheated 200-degree oven until set. Top-down or convection mode.
