Asparagus and cheese puff pastry for dinner: the easiest recipe for a spectacular dish
April and May are the season of very healthy and delicious asparagus. You can bake it, fry it, make soups, and cook delicious pies.
Chef Valerii Ponomar shared a recipe for a delicious puff pastry pie with asparagus and jamon on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Asparagus – 300 g
- Puff pastry – 2 pcs.
- Parmesan cheese – 100 g
- Parsley – 1 tbsp.
- Garlic – 1 clove.
- Salt and pepper – to taste
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp.
- Jamon – 4-5 slices
- Egg – 1 pc.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and peel the asparagus.
2. Roll out the puff pastry 2-3 mm thick, the edges can be wrapped to prevent the dough from puffing up in the center.
3. Grate the Parmesan cheese, spread it evenly over the surface of the dough, and top with the asparagus.
4. Mix the parsley, garlic, olive oil, and jamon and spread over the entire surface of the asparagus.
5. Drizzle a little olive oil on top, brush the edges of the dough with an egg, and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 200 C.
