Not greasy and tender hake: how to cook fish deliciously

Hake is considered a fairly budget fish. It is most often chosen for frying in batter. But to make this product healthy, you should cook it in the oven.

The idea of cooking baked hake fish with vegetables in the oven was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna Kudlyak (recepty_przepisy).

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg hake fish
  • 1.5 tbsp. of fish seasoning
  • 1.5 tsp of salt (without a slide)
  • 1.5 tsp of paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Vegetables:

  • 5 onions
  • 5 carrots
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 3-5 tbsp. tomato paste
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 50 ml of water

Method of preparation:

1. Peel the fish from the fins and guts, wash and cut into portions.

2. Put in a bowl, add spices, salt, pepper, mix, cover with foil and refrigerate for 1.5-2 hours.

3. Vegetables: cut the onion into half rings, grate the carrots on a coarse grater, cut the pepper into small pieces.

4. Pour oil into the pan, add vegetables, tomato paste, salt, pepper and water. Simmer over moderate heat, covered, until the vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.

5. Separately, roll the fish in flour and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.

6. Put the following layers on a deep baking sheet: vegetables, fish, vegetables, fish, vegetables

.7. Bake at 200 degrees for 25 minutes.
