How to cook beef stroganoff: perfect for mashed potatoes, cereals and pasta
If you want to cook soft, juicy, and tender meat, you need to pay attention to such a dish as beef stroganoff. Traditionally, it is made from beef and onions, and less often it is supplemented with mushrooms. Beef stroganoff is somewhat reminiscent of a thick gravy, which is delicious with mashed potatoes, cereals, and pasta.
Food blogger Yulia with the nickname yulia_delicious_recipes shared a recipe for beef stroganoff on her Instagram page, which she recommends supplementing with mushrooms.
Ingredients:
- beef - 600 g
- cream 10% - 200 g
- tomato paste - 70 g
- onion - 1 pc
- wheat flour - 2 tbsp
- vegetable oil - 1-2 tbsp
- salt, black pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Cut and fry the mushrooms.
2. Chop the onion and add to the mushrooms. Stir and fry until the moisture has completely evaporated.
3. Then chop and add the beef to the mushrooms. Stir and fry under the lid for 10-15 minutes.
4. Add cream, spices, tomato paste and flour. Stir and simmer until the beef is done.
