They shone and faded. Ohnievich, Tayanna, Prykhodko and two more stars who failed to build a brilliant career in Ukraine

We watch stars on social media and read showbiz news, but we don't think about how all this works from the inside. What do I mean? There is a class of artists in the entertainment industry. This is called the first, second, or third tier. This is how stars are classified into top and least popular.

And there is a separate caste - they are in showbiz but have not yet reached the peak of fame. Let's talk about them.

Our selection is opened by Anastasia Kozhevnikova, a former Georgian singer. The girl joined the legendary female band in 2013 and worked in the group for 5 years. Her striking appearance, incredible vocals, and professional work in the frame helped Anastasia to shine in the band. But in her solo career, the above skills did not help the singer to become a full-fledged unit in show business. As for me, it's all about the unsuccessful repertoire. Nastia's solo songs are rather mediocre and have not gained popularity against the competition. Today, the singer does not give interviews or release songs. She is busy on Instagram and teaches private vocal lessons.

Zlata Ohnievich is known to everyone. She was the heroine of the show "The Bachelorette," represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest, managed to become a member of the Parliament, and has elite advertising contracts. At first glance, everything looks great, but Zlata hasn't found her niche in showbiz. In more than 10 years of her career, she has only a few hits: "Sweet Punishment" and a duet song with Shumei, "Storms." The artist continues to search for a musical sound, but so far to no avail.

Tayanna has tried her hand at the National Selection several times, and worked with Badoiev, but no long-lasting hit. There were good videos and a PR strategy, but now it's a dead end. Despite her impeccable vocal skills, she hasn't found her audience and hasn't been able to find her niche. I think this is the result of poor selection and formation of the singer's team. Teamwork is behind the success of any artist, and it is impossible to build a solid foundation without professional staff. Let me remind you that Tayanna's brother Misha Marvin initially condemned the full-scale invasion of Russia, left the Russian label Blackstar, and left Moscow. But something went wrong, and the traitor returned to the occupying country, resumed cooperation with the label, and continued to tour the cities of the Russian Federation.

The hit film of 2022, Vanka-Vstanka, tore up all the charts and gave the author of the hit, Maria Kondratenko, a golden ticket to showbiz. A bright start and a rapid fade. After "Vanka-Vstanka" Masha had another fleeting hit, "Vohnyk-Vohnyk." Masha knows how to create tiktok hits, but she has become a hostage to an infantile image. Today, according to my kittens, Klavdiia Petrivna's representatives managed to pull off a cool PR stunt when Masha Kondratenko came out to receive Klavdiia's award at one of the music awards, wearing a big hat that partially hid her face. Why not? Everyone benefits: on the one hand, the label diverted fans' attention from the real Klavdiia Petrivna, although we have already told you that the mysterious image of the singer, whom no one has seen, hides young Solomiia Opryshko; on the other hand, it is a great information occasion for Maria to remind about her existence in the media space once again.

Our selection today ends with the odious Anastasia Prikhodko. After participating in the Eurovision Song Contest from Russia, Nastya's star never really shone. I can assume that it's because of the singer's complex character. Relatively speaking, every second scandal in Ukrainian show business is somehow connected to Prykhodko. We'll consider this a human factor, but it's a pity: Nastia has a unique timbre of voice, and I would like to hear more hits from her rather than loud scandals.
