Ukrainian singer, "Star Factory" contestant and dancer Santa Dimopulos tried to justify her communication with Russians. The artist was periodically criticized for her active cooperation with Russian residents and tolerance of the Russian language in public space during the great war, which had been going on for 2.5 years.

The singer decided to openly explain her civic position by answering a question from a follower on InstaStories. She stated that all her Russian friends have "the right guidelines," but did not name them.

"Because I don't categorize people by race, beliefs, skin color... Because my friends are primarily people who have the right guidelines and a good heart," she answered the question.

Dimopulos added that she keeps in touch exclusively with "good Russians," i.e. those who condemn Russia's armed aggression.

"I would not communicate with people who justify or support the attack on my country," she added.

It is worth noting that she writes her blog in three languages: Russian (mostly), English, and Ukrainian. When addressed in Ukrainian, she responds in Ukrainian.

It is known that in early 2024, Santa Dimopulos angered Ukrainians with a "New Year's" photo shoot in Bali. And it was not about vacationing during the war, but about collaborating with a photographer from St. Petersburg.

This is not the first time Dimopulos has been caught up in scandals over her entertainment during the war. A year ago, the singer appeared at the party of the daughter of Russian oligarch Eldar Osmanov in Monaco.
