"Kvartal 95" angered Ukrainians with an issue about men whose wives left for abroad after February 24: Irina Gatun appeared there again

"Kvartal 95" angered Ukrainians with a new issue

"In its new issue, Kvartal 95 decided to make a joke about families who were separated because of the full-scale war: the woman went abroad for safety, while the man stayed in Ukraine. However, the studio's clumsy "jokes" once again caused outrage online.

Many viewers found the humor of the "Kvartal" to be low-grade. They left their feedback under the corresponding video on the studio's Instagram page.

For example, the audience was shown a musical number featuring the famous Ukrainian composer and pianist Yevhen Khmara. The musician accompanied the scandalous Kvartal actress Iryna Gatun, the same one who had already disgraced herself with a number about a "Siskadovska" girl in the show's New Year's episode, and later even got into the Peacemaker base for visiting the Russian-annexed Crimea.

In the new number, Gatun played a woman who returned from Poland, where she spent a year and a half because of the full-scale invasion. She sang a song to the tune of "Oh in the Cherry Orchard" with different "funny" lyrics. All the humor was based on how a "hungry" husband attacked his wife on the train and could not be satisfied in a cafe, in a taxi on the way home, or in an elevator.

Yes, the actress sang: "An express train from Warsaw was arriving on the first track, I hadn't even left the compartment yet, and he was already undressing me. I asked to go home, but he didn't hear me because he was already moaning. Oh, my dear, stop, our train is already going to the depot, at least let the people who were traveling with me in the compartment out. And give me these flowers that you were holding in your hand all the time. The conductor finally kicked us out, and we went to eat at KFC. I went into the restroom for a moment, and he was already there without his underwear. He shouted, Don't bang on the door, because I endured it, and you endure it."

Further in the story of the vulgar song, which was supposed to be funny, a man did not let his wife rest in a taxi, so that "the car windows were sweating." Then Gatun continued: "In the elevator, he's at it again, I say 'Stop! I told him, 'You won't make it in time,' but he took it anyway and made it."

When the man was finally satisfied and laid down to rest, the woman took the position of the "hungry one": "It's my turn now."

The video was posted on the studio's page just an hour ago (at the time of writing), but has already garnered a lot of negative and outrageous feedback. Ukrainians believe that the topic of separation due to the war is painful for many families, so joking about it in this context is "blasphemy" and "bottom".

As a reminder, in January, a loud scandal continued to surround Kvartal 95 because of an episode ridiculing the residents of occupied Skadovsk. The press service of 1+1 apologized for this and said that the full program would be re-edited, cutting out the controversial episode. Kvartal 95 also apologized, emphasizing that it respects all IDPs and did not want to offend the residents of the temporarily occupied city.

After the Skadovsk scandal and her trips to Crimea, Iryna Gatun was included in the Myrotvorets database, which investigates signs of crimes against Ukraine's national security, peace, human security, and international law. Her name appears there under the following reasoning: "Participation in attempts to legalize the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by Russia (the aggressor country and terrorist). Public abuse of Ukrainian citizens in the territories occupied by the Russian fascist invaders."

As OBOZ.UA wrote, later Gatun assured that she had traveled to the occupied Crimea "legally". The star noted that she did not understand why some of her compatriots were "oppressing" her.
