The communiqué signed at the end of the Peace Summit was supported by another country. It is the Federated States of Micronesia.

This is the 90th country to support the document. This was reported by the press service of the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Federated States of Micronesia signed the Peace Summit communiqué on Friday, June 28. This brings the number of signatory countries to 90.

Micronesia is an island nation in Oceania located in the Caroline Islands, north of New Guinea. It consists of more than 600 islands scattered over a vast territory in the Pacific Ocean with an area of 700 km². Administratively, the country is divided into four states: Kosrae, Pohnpei, Chuuk, and Yap. The capital of Micronesia is Palikir.

Recently it became known that two more states have joined the final communiqué of the inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland. These are Barbados and the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The same decision was made by the Caribbean island nation of Antigua and Barbuda. It was the first country not to be represented at the Peace Summit but later joined the final document.

The South African country of Zambia also joined the Global Peace Summit communiqué.

Among the countries that participated in the summit, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, India, Mexico, South Africa, Brazil, and the United Arab Emirates did not sign the final document. Iraq, Jordan, and Rwanda withdrew their signatures from the communiqué.
