A special Christmas tree was set up in Konstantynivka: made of the belongings of wounded and killed soldiers.

A special Christmas tree has appeared in Kostyantynivka, Donetsk Oblast, on the way to Ukrainian positions on the front line. It consists of belongings of wounded and fallen defenders of our country.

The unusual installation was posted on Telegram by Ukrainian journalist Andriy Tsaplienko. It was created by a volunteer with the call sign Susi.

On the Christmas tree, you can see helmets, body armor, boots and other equipment of Ukrainian soldiers. According to the author, the military at the front need support, not paving stones and stadiums. In addition, Susi wanted to remind Ukrainians that the New Year's festivities are not a reason to forget about the war.

Earlier, a photo taken 6 kilometers from Bakhmut, showing a modest Christmas tree decorated with blue and yellow balls, went viral. It was this tree that was named the main Christmas tree of the country. As it turned out, it was set up by a volunteer from the town of Chasiv Yar, Yevhen Tkachev.

- On December 23, a Christmas tree burn ed down in the Russian city of Khimki, a satellite city of Moscow. Preliminary, the incident was caused by a short circuit in the garland that decorated the tree.
