"This is a war": Zelensky responds to whether Ukraine will use the opportunity to eliminate Putin

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky does not rule out that our country will take the opportunity to eliminate Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. The Head of State noted that Ukraine has every right to defend its land.

The President also emphasized that neither Putin nor Russia wants to end the war. Zelensky said this in an interview with The Sun.

Asked whether Ukraine would take the chance to kill Putin if it had the opportunity, Zelenskyy said that our country has the right to defend itself against aggression.

"This is a war, and Ukraine has every right to defend our land. We do not believe that neither Putin nor Russia, we do not believe that they want to end the war. They want to kill us. And we want justice. Therefore, we are not talking about peace at any cost," Zelensky said.

The head of state also said that the terrorist country Russia had tried to kill him several times. Russia was preparing at least five attempts to assassinate the Ukrainian president. At the same time, Zelensky added that it is not always about physical elimination. In particular, the aggressor country wanted to overthrow the Ukrainian government with the help of Operation Maidan-3.

As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelensky once again noted the feat of Ukrainians - the military - who are fighting for the freedom of Ukraine in battles at the front. At the same time, he recognized that victory over the aggressor is still far away.

Earlier, Zelensky called on Ukrainians to use every opportunity to strengthen the state. He emphasized that it is very important for all citizens to be effective.
