"They can't use all the carriers at the same time": expert explains whether Russia can strike Ukraine with more than 100 missiles at a time

Russians are waiting for a cold snap to strike en masse at Ukraine, expert says

Russian terrorist troops are probably waiting for the cold weather to strike Ukraine en masse. Theoretically, it could be more than 100 missiles, but in practice it is unlikely.

The occupiers are currently amassing ammunition and trying to optimize their attacks. This opinion was expressed by Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military and political observer of the Information Resistance group, in a commentary to TSN. He believes that the absence of large-scale shelling is a temporary phenomenon.

According to the expert, last year the Russian command was dissatisfied with the shelling of Ukraine, so this year it is changing its tactics somewhat. Kovalenko emphasizes that the Russians are stockpiling supplies and waiting for the cold weather, and until then they can only occasionally launch ballistic and aerial missiles.

"But as for cruise missiles and Kalibr, they will stockpile them in order to strike Ukraine more intensively with the onset of frost," Kovalenko is convinced.

According to his estimates, the enemy is also using less Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. Given the forecasts of weather forecasters, the expert noted that the winter is likely to be warm, so the occupiers will try to "squeeze in" with their attacks during short periods of frost.

The observer believes that the Russians are capable of striking using a hundred or more air targets. At the same time, Kovalenko expressed doubt that the Russians would be able to simultaneously launch all the carriers, because not all of them are combat-ready.

"So I don't think there will be a strike using more than a hundred missiles. On paper, it is possible, but in reality, it is not," the analyst summarized.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

- The Ukrainian Navy reported that Russia has not been using Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles to strike Ukraine for a long time, probably because of the enemy's logistics problems. The invaders were forced to relocate their missile launchers from the temporarily occupied Crimea to Novorossiysk.

- The Ukrainian Air Force reported that the Russian terrorist army is capable of producing about 100 missiles per month. Today, the Russian army's stockpile of precision missiles is estimated at about 800 units.
