"We need to dominate": Ukraine's player speaks out about the match with Belgium at Euro 2024

Ukraine midfielder Heorhii Sudakov expressed confidence that his team should dominate from the first minutes of the match against Belgium in the third round of the 2024 European Championship group stage. The Shakhtar Donetsk footballer noted that in this way, the Blue and Yellows will be able to avoid the mistakes they made in the match against Slovakia.

Sudakov said this in an interview with the official YouTube channel of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF), the organization's press service reports. The 21-year-old midfielder also added that the situation in Group E is incredibly confusing, as each team has three points.

"The game against Belgium is extremely important, we understand that even a draw may not be enough for us, so now the standings are such that you can either be first or last. We can lose and qualify, or we can draw and not qualify, so everything is very confusing. The most important thing is that now everything depends on us and we will hopefully show our best. The first minutes against Slovakia were very difficult, so we need to dominate Belgium from the first minutes," Sudakov said.
