'We are not vindictive': Russian rival Kharlan ridiculously pleaded for a return to international tournaments

Two-time Olympic fencing champion Yana Egoryan pretended that Russians are a friendly and peace-loving nation. Olga Kharlan's rival ridiculously called for returning representatives of the aggressor country to international competitions and maintaining friendly relations with them.

Egorian said this at the so-called Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), reports the propaganda channel Match TV. The 30-year-old saber fencer expressed her readiness to "make friends" with foreign athletes again, without saying a word about the criminal war that Russia has unleashed against Ukraine.

"I remember the match meeting with the French in 2018 - a great meeting that allowed our federations to cooperate. Later on, there were unpleasant events, some athletes were happy about our absence from the Olympic Games, released some videos on social networks. Now the Games are over, we have a new round of raising the Olympic spirit. We can be friends again, we are not vindictive and we are ready to host everyone. I would like to return to this format as soon as possible," Egoryan said.

On the eve of the fencer admitted that she is in a desperate situation due to the impossibility of obtaining the so-called neutral status. She was a proxy for dictator Vladimir Putin in the so-called 2018 elections and is an employee of the Russian Defense Ministry.
