Borschov insulted Usyk

The Russian representative of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Vyacheslav Borshchov, has spoken insultingly about the world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs). The Russian athlete noted that he disagreed with the opinion of the Ukrainian, who condemned the aggressor country.

Borshchov said this in an interview with the propaganda publication Sport-Express. The mixed martial arts fighter, who supports the war but intends to live in the United States, added that he enjoys the boxing skills of our compatriot.

"There is a boxer named Usyk. This is one of the greatest boxers, right? I don't agree with him either. He evokes negative emotions. But he is a great boxer. What else can I say? I watch, I get high from his boxing. It's a real treat for the eyes that there are such people. But he's an asshole. Why would I want to promote him? Have I ever rooted for Usyk before? It seems to me that everyone was rooting for him, I don't know, I guess so. I wasn't rooting for him because he was Ukrainian or because he treated us well, but because he was a fucking great boxer," Borshchov said.

Earlier, Russian MMA representative Oleg Taktarov was surprised by the victory of our champion over Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs), and also said that Usyk cannot be considered a legend because of his pro-Ukrainian stance. Another fighter from the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Datsyk, called the fight between Oleksandr and Tyson pornography and wanted to fight the Ukrainian with axes.

In turn, the promoter Vladimir Khryunov issued a nonsense that the outcome of the fight between Usyk and Fury was rigged. In addition, Russian boxer Timur Nikulin said that the fight on May 18 ended in a draw at least.
