The incident occurred after the fight with Max Holloway

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion Ilia Topuria (16-0) kicked a Russian media representative out of a press conference after his fight against American Max Holloway (26-8). The 27-year-old German native won in the main event of the UFC 308 tournament (Abu Dhabi, UAE) by knockout.

During a conversation with journalists, Topuria said he was ready to become the first fighter to defeat the leader of the P4P rankings, Dagestani Islam Makhachev (27-1), ahead of schedule.

Earlier, Ilia said that he would not want to meet the Russian in a street fight as "in that case, he would have to pay for his treatment." After that, Bellator lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov stood up for the Dagestani athlete, asking Topuria on social media, "Just tell me, when was the last time you fought on the street, European?"

During the conference, the Russian reporter tried to provoke the fighter but was eventually forced to leave the room early.

- You were born in Germany and moved to Spain when you were 15. What do you possibly know about the street?

- Who brought this guy here? (The audience is laughing).

- I came by myself...

- Now you're going to get up and get out of here on your own too.
