Ukrainians held a protest in Portugal

The organizers of the Judo Grand Prix in Odivalas, Portugal, tried to prevent Ukrainian fans from protesting against the participation of Russians in the tournament. Our compatriots at the tournament, which took place on January 26-28, reminded us that the Russian criminal army continues to commit crimes in our country.

This was reported on his Facebook page by the head of the Union of Ukrainians in Portugal, Pavel Sadokha. According to him, representatives of Ukraine unfurled a poster reminding of the impossibility of the participation of so-called neutral athletes from the Russian Federation in international competitions.

"Only after February 24, 2022, Russia killed 420 Ukrainian athletes who also wanted to participate in sports tournaments," the Ukrainians wrote. Sadokha added that the tournament security tried to ban the event, arguing that "sport is out of politics," but this did not stop our compatriots.

"Russia is a terrorist, and everyone who attracts Russian athletes to international competitions at this time supports the murder of Ukrainians!" Pavlo emphasized.
