UAF disqualifies Rakytskyi for fighting
The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) has suspended Shakhtar Donetsk defender Yaroslav Rakytskyi for four matches for a mass brawl, the UAF press service reports. The incident took place in the 29th round of the Ukrainian Premier League match between the miners and Dnipro-1.
Shakhtar will also have to pay a fine of UAH 500,000. Viktor Kornienko was also suspended for 4 matches. Anatoliy Trubin was punished with a 2-match ban. He received a suspended sentence for 2 more matches. Yegor Nazarina was banned for 3 games.
Joao Peglov, Ronald Matarrita, Oleksiy Hutsulyak and Vitaliy Fedoriv will not be able to take part in four matches for Dnipro-1. The Dnipro team will also have to pay half a million hryvnias.
All the fined players have already served one match of suspension.
