Famous footballer became a laughingstock on the net

The Romanian goalkeeper of the Polish club Pogon from Szczecin, Valentin Cojocaru, became a real laughingstock after the ExtraClasis away match against Śląsk (Wroclaw). The 28-year-old native of Bucharest faked an injury that was called "the worst injury of the century" on the Internet.

After the final whistle, which recorded Pogonia's 1-0 victory, Cojocaru and his teammates were sitting on the lawn when one of the home fans threw a plastic bottle at him. The water container flew past the goalkeeper, barely touching him.

However, this was enough for Cojocaru to put on a real show. The goalkeeper showed unnatural agony and fell to the field with a grimace of pain.

Within a week, the episode with Cojocaru garnered more than 700,000 views, and fans on the web demanded that Valentin be given an Oscar.

"This goalkeeper should be banned for the rest of the season," "He's a better actor than a goalkeeper. Doesn't he know that there are cameras everywhere and it's clear to see how the bottle flew past him?" - users write.

It should be noted that Cojocaru is known to Ukrainian fans for his performances in the UPL. In the 2021-2022 season, Valentin stood in the goal of Dnipro-1, conceding 12 goals in 14 matches
