Sydorchuk will perform with Neustedter

Ukraine midfielder Serhiy Sydorchuk, who unexpectedly moved from Dynamo Kyiv to Belgian Westerlo the previous day, will compete with former Russian national team player Roman Neustedter at his new club. The 35-year-old native of Dnipro once refused to play for our national team.

Neustedter moved to the Belgian team in 2022. He became the main supporting midfielder of the club, as well as the captain of the team since the new season and played 44 matches for Westerlo. He played all 540 minutes in six matches in the new draw of the Belgian Pro League Russian with a German passport. At the same time, it should be noted that coach Jonas De Roeck uses Roman more often in the center of defense.

Sydorchuk moved to Dynamo in 2013 from Zaporizhzhia Metalurh. He played 327 matches in all tournaments and became a true legend of the club. He scored 21 goals and 21 assists. Sydorchuk has 91 yellow and seven red cards.

He made his debut in the European Cup and the national team of Ukraine. Earlier it became known that Dynamo midfielder Denys Harmash left the team after 16 years at the club.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Dynamo Kyiv leader Mykola Shaparenko was injured and will not play for the Ukrainian national team in matches against England (September 9) and Italy (September 12) in qualifying for Euro 2024.
