The first UFC champion from Russia blamed Ukrainians for not being able to stay in the United States
The first champion of the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) from Russia Oleg Taktarov complained that because of the Ukrainians he could not continue his career in the American film industry. After the full-scale invasion on February 24, the representative of the aggressor country lost several contracts in the United States.
Taktarov said this in an interview with Russian propagandist Boris Korchevnikov on Russia 1 television. The former athlete said that during auditions for various movies directors and producers allegedly gave preference to Ukrainian actors.
"Why didn't you stay in America? My four projects fell through. I was replaced by someone else. At all the auditions, when a Russian person was needed, there was a Ukrainian. Just in case they'd say: "Why does a person from Russia take money from Ukrainian actors? I understand them, it's business. I understand, but I don't accept it," said the former UFC champion.
Taktarov also noted a portion of propaganda lies, saying that Ukraine was overrun by "rapists and perverts from all over the world," and that months before the Russian invasion he had only heard foreign speech from border guards on the border of the two countries.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, while in Mexico, Oleg Tartarov was attacked, which he called the case of a "supermafia group."
