Medvedev staged a circus during the match

Russia's top-ranked tennis player Daniil Medvedev gave his coach a real run for his money during the first round match of the prestigious Cincinnati tournament with a prize pool of almost $8 million. After losing another point to the 35th ranked Jiri Legecka, the tennis player simply cursed his coach in hysterics.

After playing the game, Medvedev went to his resting place and began to shout angrily in the direction of his box. The 28-year-old Muscovite demanded that the coach make changes to the game and give him advice that would help him turn the tide of a difficult match.

"F*ck you! F*ck you, f***er! Your f***ing thing doesn't work! Do something, f***! Help me, f***!" the Russian angrily addressed the coach.

After that, the judge on the tower reprimanded Medvedev, to which he only snapped. "Why are you giving warnings for violating the code? I'm talking to myself. What's the problem?" the tennis player replied. And after the referee demanded that the athlete think in silence, he shouted: "You talk in your head!"

The match itself ended with Medvedev losing in two games - 6:7, 4:6. This fiasco was the third in a row for the Russian at hard-court tournaments.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, tennis player from Kazakhstan Alexander Bublik performed a stunning shot in the 1/32 finals of the Canadian Open tennis championship in Montreal, throwing his racket under the ball.
