Russia's best tennis player talks about "total chaos" in Russia because of Prigozhin's "coup"

Kasatkina spoke out about the situation in Russia

The first racket of Russia Daria Kasatkina called the situation with the military insurgency, organized last weekend by the head of PMC "Vagner" Evgeny Prigozhin, a complete mess. The tennis player noted that she was worried about her relatives in Voronezh, where the mercenaries stormed, but recalled the war in Ukraine.

Kasatkina said this after defeating our compatriot Angelina Kalinina at the tournament in Eastbourne, writes the portal "Big Tennis Ukraine". Daria noted that the rebellion of Prigozhin does not compare with the shelling of Ukrainian cities and the killing of their residents and defenders.

"My family, my parents are still in Russia. Well, as you can see, it's been a complete mess over the last few days. I'm worried about my friends, because my best friends, they live in Voronezh, where a few days ago there was one of the biggest... It was such a man with a private army. And Voronezh was one of the cities they went in. So I was very worried about that. Obviously Ukrainians are going through a much worse situation, but I'm also very worried about the fate of the people I love," Kasatkina said.

Earlier during Roland Garros, the Russian tennis player noted an unexpected gesture to Elina Svitolina, who refuses to shake hands with representatives of the Russian Federation.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the famous Ukrainian tennis player Alexander Dolgopolov expressed confidence that the riot, organized in Russia by the head of the Wagner PMC Evgeny Prigozhin, very characteristically showed the real state of the country.
