Head coach of Dynamo Kyiv Mircea Lucescu called Besiktas Istanbul an African team after the match of the Conference League qualification. Commenting on the dramatic defeat of his team, the Romanian specialist noted that his wards showed a good game, which inspires optimism.

Lucescu said this at a press conference after the game in Bucharest, his words are quoted by digisport.ro. The coach noted that the opponents took advantage of his players' inexperience, but the result of the game (2:3) could have been completely different.

"The game was good. We had chances to score and we also made mistakes. Mistakes are made all the time. It's a negative result, but it's a positive result in terms of the game and the team's ability to dominate the opponent. We didn't play against Besiktas, we played against the African national team. It's difficult to play against them when you have 11 players from the club. They took advantage of our players' inexperience and scored goals. They are a good team, they made good transfers," Lucescu said.

Earlier, the Romanian coach of Dynamo expressed outrage at the refereeing of the match with Besiktas and called his team the "champion in canceled goals".

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, a Russian trace was found in a defeat of Kyiv Dynamo to Istanbul Besiktas in the Conference League.
