"It's hard. It's difficult": Russian figure skaters complain about suspensions
Famous Russian figure skating coach Tatyana Tarasova sadly complained about the suspension of Russian athletes from international competitions. The Vladimir Putin regime's accomplice noted that it is now difficult to assess the real level of athletes from the aggressor country.
Tarasova said this in a comment to the Sport24 portal. According to her, Russian sport loses a lot in the absence of competitions with the world's strongest rivals and continues to fight for survival, so only a return to tournaments will show the strength of athletes from the Russian Federation.
"I don't think I would change anything about Russian sports. I would like to see it develop and Russia be admitted to all competitions in the world. Without this, it is hard for us, but we are trying and holding on. We are developing, although it is difficult. It is still difficult to determine whether we are lagging behind or not. When Russia is admitted, we will know where we are. It's very difficult to assess the level of sports today. But Russia has always been a sporty country and remains so," Tarasova said.
Earlier, the head coach of the Russian national curling team Vasily Gudin admitted that the world leaders in this sport categorically refuse to compete with the team from Russia.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Russian fencers will miss the Olympics in Paris. And saber fencer Sofia Velikaya admitted that no one is interested in the opinion of athletes about the boycott of the Olympic Games in Russia.
