The team of WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) has won the promotional bidding for his fight against British Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs). According to Oleksandr Krasiuk, Usyk will hold his next fight on August 12 in Poland.

"We won the bidding. Now we are working to hold the fight in Wroclaw on August 12," Krasiuk wrote on his Instagram.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Usyk was originally scheduled to fight Dubois on December 12, but the WBA postponed the mandatory defence for the Ukrainian, giving Oleksandr time to agree with Tyson Fury on a fight for the absolute championship.

The opponents were ordered to negotiate and sign a contract for the fight by May 2, but the parties failed to reach an agreement, after which promotional bidding was held.

It will be recalled that Saudi Arabia intends to organise the Usyk-Fury and Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) - Wilder fights in December on the same night. The media published the boxers' fees for the grand show. The total amount will be at least $250 million. At the same time, Anthony has already confirmed his fight against Deontay.

At a press conference in Tenerife, Tyson Fury recently made a rude remark about Oleksandr Usyk. He also promised to destroy the Ukrainian champion.
