The 64-year-old man received a craniocerebral injury, a concussion, a broken nose and cut wounds on his face and head. The judge's ear was also partially cut off, "REN TV" claims. "Fontanka" specifies that the condition of the person admitted to the Mariinsky hospital is assessed as serious.

"The police received a signal that on the night of July 20 a man was hospitalized by ambulance from a chess club on Tchaikovsky. He had multiple injuries to the head and torso, including stab wounds. The victim was unable to explain the circumstances under which he received his injuries. The assailant has been detained. The police are working with him.
