The legendary athlete gave a frank interview

The legendary former Czech national hockey team goalkeeper Dominik Hašek has harshly criticised the US National Hockey League, which features many players from Russia. The 58-year-old Czech admitted that he would do everything possible to compensate Ukraine for the advertising of Russian athletes by the NHL.

"I can't imagine that 10 years ago I would have been against the NHL. It's a job for the players, that's why these guys don't play. So I apologise to the NHL players to a certain extent, but I won't apologise to the NHL bosses and management. These are the officials who have to set the rules so that the NHL is not an advertisement for the Russian war. And I will do everything to make sure that the NHL pays Ukraine billions for their attitude," Hašek said in an interview with seznamzpravy.cz.

This confession of the famous "dominator" caused a real hysteria among Russian fans. In their comments, Russian hockey fans began to insult the Czech in every possible way.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, in one of his interviews, Hašek admitted that he played along with Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin's propaganda, ignoring Russia's aggression.

Earlier, Hašek visited Kharkiv and Kyiv and recorded a new video message to Ukrainians, wishing them to "drive the Russian sh*t away".

He also put the Russian Vyacheslav Fetisov in his place, demanding that the Czech return to Russia all the money he had earned at Spartak.

It should be noted that two-time USSR hockey champion Gennady Kurdin insulted Dominik for his support of Ukraine and his criticism of Russia and the Vladimir Putin regime.
