"Great Russia must not be humiliated": Russia calls the conditions for returning to world sports "rudeness and impudence" of the West
The former president of Sambo-70 Renat Layshev, with the pride typical of Russians, spoke out against the participation of Russian athletes in international tournaments without a flag and anthem. An accomplice of Vladimir Putin's dictatorial regime, he called such conditions of admission "handouts from the West."
He said this in an interview with the propaganda outlet Tatar-Inform. The head of the Moscow Sambo Federation spoke nonsense about the greatness of Russia, which, according to him, is obliged to dictate its terms everywhere. He also dreamed of the victory of the aggressor country in the criminal war against Ukraine.
"This is the rudeness and arrogance of the West that must be stopped. I believe that Russia needs to keep its brand, especially since the victory in the SVO (as the war is shamefully called in Russia - ed.) will be ours. It is not appropriate for Russia to respond to some pathetic handouts from the West. We cannot allow a great power like Russia to be humiliated. I am expressing my point of view, my opinion. We need to act with a united front. In sports, in the economy, and in politics," Layshev said.
Earlier, Valentina Rodionenko, the senior coach of the Russian national gymnastics team, complained that Ukrainians were preventing Russian representatives from returning to international tournaments.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Hockey Hall of Famer Vaclav Nedomanski called Russians a primitive people who are psychologically ill.
