Terence Crawford defeated Errol Spence

WBO welterweight belt holder Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) defeated WBC, WBA and IBF champion Errol Spence (28-1, 22 KOs) at the Las Vegas Arena in Las Vegas (USA) to win the absolute title. The 35-year-old American became the world's first two-division absolute champion in the four-belt era that began in 2007.

In 2017, Terence Crawford defeated Julius Indongo to become an absolute bantamweight.

Oleksandr Usyk could beat Crawford's achievement , becoming an absolutist at heavyweight and trying to set up a heavyweight division 4 title fight with Tyson Fury. Josh Taylor (welterweight), Saul Alvarez (middleweight), Jermell Charlo (middleweight), Devin Haney (lightweight) and Naoya Innoue (lightweight) each won all the belts once.

Spence started the fight aggressively, working the first round. Crawford didn't force the situation, and in the second round he landed a precise counterpunch. Spence, who had never been knocked down before, fell for the first time 10 seconds before the bell.

After that, a one-sided beating began in the ring. Errol could not counter with side kicks to the body and head, and was on the canvas twice more.

In the 7th round, Crawford caught his attacking opponent a second time with a short right uppercut and then a third time with a right hook.

In the 9th round, the referee stopped the fight, awarding the victory by technical knockout.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, in April this year, Crawford expressed support for Ukraine in its resistance to Russian aggressors.
