She went on to play for Hamburg, Kloppenburg and Werder Bremen before retiring in 2018 at the age of 26.
A solid midfielder, she played under her maiden name Bagehorn for most of her career before marrying former player and coach Benjamin Ehta in 2014.
She won the U20 World Cup in 2010 with the German youth women's national team and then worked under Bettina Wiegmann as an assistant coach in the German national team. Since 2019, she has led the country's women's national teams of all ages (U15, U17, U19).
