Dana White, CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), has announced that he is returning Russian flags to the promotion. The display of Russian symbols before and after fights has been banned since May last year.

After the Fight Night 229 show in Las Vegas, the UFC head admitted that the recent Noche UFC event was a turning point for him in reversing this policy.

"The flags are back. I was on vacation during Mexican Independence Day and the lack of a flag was driving me crazy. So I thought, 'Yeah, go to hell. We are bringing flags back.' Everybody's too soft, everybody's too sensitive to everything. If some flags hurt your feelings, that's your problem," White said.

White said that he didn't think the flag ban was a big deal at first and that he wasn't against it at all. However, as time went on, he liked what was happening less and less.

"A lot of things happen in such a large company. It is impossible to control everything in detail. Sometimes something is done for the right reasons or something else. Everyone knows how I feel about many things. In fact, 'I don't care' is the answer to most questions," White summarized.
