Pakhalina speaks out about Russia

Olympic champion Yulia Pakhalina expressed an incredibly absurd opinion that Russia is the safest country in the world. As an argument, the winner of the 2000 Sydney Games in diving cited the presence of weapons in the Russian terrorist state.

Pakhalina said this in an interview with the propaganda news agency TASS. The former athlete, who has been living in the United States since 2002, also added that there are more poor people in America than in Russia, and, in addition, she admired life in the USSR.

Russian army losses

"In America, in terms of percentage, there are many more poor people than in Russia, those who live very hard from paycheck to paycheck. They live in outbuildings. We always want a better life, we remember how great it was in the Soviet Union, but everywhere has its pros and cons. Moscow, of course, has changed. Foreigners ask me how the situation is there, and I answer like this: "Russia is now the safest place in the world to live. Do you know what kind of weapons we have?" Pakhalina said.

Readers of the Sports.ru portal ridiculed this reasoning of the Olympic winner. They advised her to take an interest in the news from the Kursk and Belgorod regions.

"From the dangerous United States, she talks about safe Russia. Classic", "Especially Kursk and Belgorod regions... Just a bastion of security", "Does she live in the United States because she loves thrills?", "Base from the epicenter of the American ghetto to the cool Soviet Union", "The safest and best country in the world for a person living in the United States", "Who can explain what the weapons have to do with it?", - they wrote in the comments.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, former Russian national footballer Sergei Yuran complained about the shelling of Belgorod and wished for a speedy end to the war, but only on the territory of the Russian Federation.
