Kaleshin complained about legionnaires in Russian football

Former Akron head coach Evgeniy Kaleshin complained that foreigners do not learn Russian when they come to work in the country. The 45-year-old called this a manifestation of disrespect for the aggressor country and demanded that the officials fix the situation.

Kaleshin said this on the air of the Match Premier propaganda TV channel. He cited the example of the German Bundesliga, where coaches come to work for local clubs with a basic knowledge of the language and can communicate with the press, demonstrating a "level of values."

"Which foreign coach has recently learned Russian? To lead Bayern Munich, you have to learn to speak German within three months. At the first press conference, you have to speak German. That's the level of values, the attitude to football. And if a person can't say 'hello' in two years, then, in my opinion, he shows disrespect for the country," Kaleshin said.

Earlier, he criticized the way Russian football is being "deliberately destroyed," just like "education and the army."

Russia was isolated from world football.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the legendary football player of the Russian national team and CSKA Moscow Vasiliy Berezutskiy fled the aggressor country and moved to Spain.
