"Crazy. They want to destroy Russia": Navka's ex-husband threw a tantrum over the US request in the case of figure skater Valiyeva

Two-time Olympic medalist Alexander Zhulin is furious over the US request to include a US representative in the hearings on the case of Russian Kamila Valieva, who was caught doping, at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne (CAS). The former husband of Ukraine's traitor Tatiana Navka called it a crazy decision, forgetting that his compatriot helped the Russian national team to overtake the Americans in the team event of the Olympics-2022.

Zhulin said this in a commentary for Sport24. The former ice figure skater threw a real tantrum over this move by the US Olympic team. He accused the Americans of "doing everything to destroy Russia," although they have every right to be present at the hearing, as they are a victim of anti-doping violations by the representative of the aggressor country.

"They've been crazy for a long time. I don't know why they do it, but they're overstepping their bounds. They want to be everywhere without anyone else. I think the arbitration court may well allow them. They are doing everything to destroy Russia. It can be seen in their every move. How many years are now useless," Zhulin said.

A banned substance called trimetazidine was found in the analysis of Valiyeva at the Olympics-2022, because of which the awarding of medalists in the team competition of the Games was delayed. Later, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) demanded to suspend the Russian from the Olympic tournament. However, CAS allowed the girl to continue her performances.

After that, the IOC decided not to hold an award ceremony for figure skaters in case Valieva wins an Olympic medal in any event. Her results in Beijing were recognized as unofficial. WADA sharply criticized Russia over the doping scandal. The figure skater could not hold back tears during the interview while commenting on the scandal.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, four-time Olympic champion Alexander Popov demanded that the IOC apologize to the Russians for the suspension from world sport.
