The moment caused a wide response in social networks

Vladimir Ivanitsky, a commentator on the BRICS Games, which Russian propagandists have pompously called the "alternative Olympics," became involved in a major scandal during the broadcast of the sambo competition. During the performance of the Russian athlete Kirill Knyazkov, he called him a representative of the Russians and suggested that the girls take note of the guy.

"A good athlete, look at him. A real groom. 20 years old. Girls take note. But only if it's a good match. We don't need any whores, we must have good genetics. Here comes a representative of the Russians," Ivanitsky said.

Shortly after the incident, Match TV CEO Alexander Tashchin said that the commentator was suspended from further work at the tournament. Ivanitsky himself disagreed with the suspension, calling it a "drain" of the journalist, which is possible only in "a period of pressure from social networks."

"I am extremely surprised by this, so during the broadcast I said words that are generally literary. And I don't see any crime in them," the commentator said in an interview with R-Sport.

In the comments, Russian fans characterized what happened as "Third Reich methods".

"Oh, talks about the genetics of the Russians have begun, almost complete imitation," "Russians, genetics, some whores, a federal channel... but don't forget where the Nazis are," "A commentator can speak out, but when he speaks out completely according to the methods of the Third Reich and at the same time sincerely does not understand why he was removed, this is already a curtain," users write.
