Pozdnyakov condemned the IOC

Stanislav Pozdnyakov, President of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), has once again whined about the unfairness of the exclusion of Russian athletes from international competitions and the conditions of admission to them. The four-time Olympic Games winner in fencing called the sanctions against the aggressor country discrimination.

Pozdnyakov said this in an interview with the TASS propaganda news agency. The head of the UOC criticized the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and its president, calling their actions totalitarian, forgetting that the Russian terrorist state does not have the rights and freedoms of citizens.

"A policy of restrictions and bans on participation in competitions is being pursued in the worst traditions of totalitarian regimes, which is what we are witnessing. We hope that the IOC leadership will come to its senses and live up to the ideals and principles that were at the origins of the Olympic movement," Pozdnyakov said.

IOC President Thomas Bach

The day before, the IOC officially opposed the "Friendship Games" that Russia intends to organize next year on the orders of dictator Vladimir Putin. After that, Ukraine's traitor Tatyana Navka accused the IOC of trying to monopolize sports and intimidate international federations. And two-time Olympic hockey champion Vyacheslav Fetisov threw a real tantrum and demanded that the IOC not interfere in Russia's affairs.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the president of the Russian Ski Racing Federation, Yelena Välbe, expressed an absurd opinion that Russian athletes would be persuaded to return to international tournaments.
