"It flew into the house": footage of the first minutes after Russia's drone strike in Odesa region has been released. Video
Last night, the Russian occupiers carried out another massive drone attack on Ukraine. In particular, there were explosions in Odesa, where one person died as a result of the Russian crime.
An eyewitness to the events in Odesa, Oksana, filmed the first minutes after the night attack on the Odesa district, Radio Liberty reports. The woman came to help her neighbor Nina, who was wounded.
Later, Oksana showed the damaged houses in her neighborhood.
"Aunt Nina was at home, I immediately ran to her and started screaming: "Are you okay?" And she had blood on her head, blood on her hand, she was standing there in shock. She was sleeping when she was hit by the glass. Yesterday, gas workers came at night. The pipe was broken, and now there is no gas there. The toilet is completely bombed. There are no sanitary conditions. It is impossible to live there now," Oksana said.
The Russian attack also damaged private residential buildings in other parts of the city, and several of them started fires. The Odesa City Council said that, among other things, one of the oldest schools in the city, Lyceum No. 125 in the Kryva Balka neighborhood, was heavily damaged.
Shrapnel damage to two gas pipes caused them to depressurize and catch fire, rescuers said. Windows were also smashed in a number of buildings.
As of now, it is known that one person was killed and nine others were injured in the attack in Odesa region.
Emergency services are currently working to eliminate the consequences. Operational headquarters have been deployed at the sites of the attacks, the victims are being provided with the necessary assistance, and law enforcement officers are recording the consequences of the crimes of the Russian military against the civilian population of Odesa region.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, more than 20 private houses, an educational institution, a gas pipeline, warehouses of a private enterprise and cars were damaged in the region.
In turn, the Air Defense Forces shot down 74 Russian attack drones in the skies over 11 regions at night and in the morning. In total, the enemy attacked with 106 drones.
