Zelensky called on the world to comply with the sanctions regime against Russia

The terrorist state Russia must constantly receive stronger signals that the world will not forgive any of Russia's terror. As many global players as possible must be absolutely principled in enforcing the sanctions regime against Russia.

President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about this in an evening address to Ukrainians published in Telegram on April 30. He expressed gratitude to everyone who helps isolate the aggressor country (to see the video, scroll to the end of the news).

"I thank each and every person in the world who is helping to strengthen the isolation of terrorists and stop any supply of weapons and their components to terrorists, who is working to block the Russian military industrial complex and to strengthen defense capabilities throughout Europe," the head of state emphasized.

On military aid to Ukraine

The president summarized the results of the past week and thanked the countries that have distinguished themselves in helping our nation.

"I would like to especially thank our partners from Denmark for Caesars; from Slovenia for armored vehicles; from Spain for tanks; from Germany for additional defense intentions for armored vehicles and shells, for air defense. Thank you to America for $1 billion 250 million in funding to support our budget and sustainability," Zelensky noted.

The head of state also expressed gratitude to the Netherlands for the parliament's decision regarding the training of Ukrainian soldiers on advanced Western systems, to Italy for being active for the sake of the speedy restoration of our state, and to Croatia for its new assistance in treating our defenders after wounds in combat.

The guarantor emphasized that it is imperative that in the utmost unity - all together in Ukraine, in Europe, in the world - we will not let Russia drag out the war and restore a normal, just peace.

About Border Guard Day

Zelensky also congratulated Ukrainian border guards, who celebrate their professional holiday on April 30.

"I want to especially mention now our border guards, who together with all the defense and security forces of Ukraine protect our state and our people in the battles in Donbas... The most brutal directions... Marinka, Bakhmut, Liman... Thank you, warriors!" - said the president.

He also noted the border guards of the Lutsk border guard detachment defending the Avdeevsk direction, Kharkiv, Sumy and Chernihiv detachments, as well as the fighters defending the Southern direction.

About the conversation with Macron

In addition, Zelensky reported on his conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.

"As always, lengthy and meaningful. We coordinate our positions - to give even more strength to our soldiers and to speed up the end of the war with our victory," said the head of state.

He thanked France and Macron personally for supporting our state and our people.

"Now in this conversation, Mr. President has confirmed for Ukraine the delivery of exactly what I addressed in the last conversation. The speed and specificity of the response is very important, it is something that greatly enhances our capabilities. Thank you for this weapons package!" - noted Zelensky.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL:
