Duda arrives in Kyiv: key issues of talks with Zelensky were named

On Wednesday, June 28, Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived in Ukraine on an unannounced visit. He intends to hold talks with Ukrainian head of state Volodymyr Zelensky, with whom he will discuss the situation on the frontline and the threats of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.

This was reported on the Twitter page of the Office of the President of Poland. The visit of the Polish leader is timed to the Day of the Constitution of Ukraine.

"The talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky are related to the celebration of Ukraine's Constitution Day, as well as consultations on the current situation on the front line, including the threat of a Russian attack on the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. Preparations for the NATO summit in July will also be discussed," the statement said.

Recall: Zelensky and Duda held talks on June 14, during which they discussed the situation on the front lines, the needs of our Defense Forces for weapons and ammunition, and also raised the issue of Ukraine's membership in NATO.

"I thanked Andrzej for the implementation of the preliminary defense agreements. Of course, in every conversation we pay great attention to long-term security and guarantees of peace, and not only for us. And always effective," Zelensky said.
