On the night of June 22, Russian occupants attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure facilities in the southern and western regions. Two power engineers were injured in one of them as a result of the shelling, and equipment was damaged.

The Ministry of Energy reported on the consequences of the shelling on Telegram. They noted that the wounded were taken to the hospital.

"Also, during the shelling, an overhead power line in the eastern region was disconnected, which led to a decrease in the load at the generating facility. The consequences are being clarified," the statement added.

On Telegram, Ukrenergo clarified that as a result of the Russian attack, equipment at facilities in Zaporizhzhia and Lviv regions was damaged. Inspection and elimination of the consequences are underway.

As a reminder, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, said that Russians had hit a critical energy infrastructure facility in the region, causing a fire.

"As of this hour, there has been no information about the victims. The extent of the damage will be reported later," the official wrote.

In general, Lutsk, some facilities in Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Kyiv, and Vinnytsia regions were under attack that night. The missile attack lasted 1 hour and 3 minutes, and the drone attack lasted 5 hours and 30 minutes. The Russians launched X-101/55, Kalibr, and cruise missiles from the Black Sea, as well as attack UAVs.
