It's also worth noting that 71% of users reported problems with the social network's Android and iOS apps, while the X website was down in 23% of cases. Another 6% of users complained about problems with connecting to the social network's servers.

Almost two hours after the social network went down, Elon Musk, the owner of X, as well as other company executives, have not commented on the situation. The cause of the technical failure also remains unclear.

As a reminder, X owner Elon Musk said that the social network could become a paid service for all users without exception. In this case, the subscription price may drop from $8 to a "small amount".

Earlier it was reported that during a secret meeting of X management, it became known about plans to significantly change the company. Musk said that in 2024, X will become a "full-fledged" dating site as well as a digital bank.
