The fight turned out to be short-lived

Undefeated British light heavyweight Ezra Taylor (10-0, 7 KOs) won a spectacular victory at a boxing night in Birmingham, England. The 30-year-old native of Nottingham finished his fight against Kristaps Bulmeistars (12-3, 5 KOs) from Latvia with the first power punch.

After the opening bell, both fighters "fenced" with direct punches for several seconds, after which Taylor countered Bulmeistars' right side lazy jab.

Underdog was able to get up right away and showed his readiness to continue the fight, but the referee did not believe the Latvian. The official time of the fight was 24 seconds.

As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, British middleweight boxer Jack McGann sensationally lost to his compatriot Louis Green (17-4, 11 KOs). The denouement came 90 seconds before the end of the first round, when Louis Green brutally knocked out his opponent with a right hand.

On May 1, former world lightweight champion Vic Sauldar (25-6, 15 KOs) won the title by knockout with a first punch. After the start of the fight, Sauldar checked his opponent several times with a jab and then knocked him down with a powerful overhand.
