Honda will soon return to production an inexpensive model of the Prelude sports segment. More than 20 years ago, this car was removed from the lineup. The long-awaited novelty was first shown on the road.
Earlier, the Honda Prelude harbinger concept was shown at the Tokyo Motor Show. The elegant sports coupe looked like a production-ready car. It is expected that in 2025 the novelty will go to the assembly line almost unchanged. Autocar showed the new Honda Prelude 2025 in photos during road tests.
The new Honda Prelude 2025 is considered a hybrid car. Strict environmental regulations require some electrification.

According to current information, the coupe will receive an economical powertrain from the Honda Accord and Civic hybrid models with a capacity of more than 200 hp. Interestingly, in addition to the usual variator in hybrid systems, the manufacturer will also offer a manual transmission.
The car is slightly larger than the Mazda MX-5. Soon the car will be declassified in all the details.
