The British company RML Group has unveiled an updated Porsche 911 Turbo S, turning it into a real hypercar with 900 horsepower. The new project is called the P39 40th Special Edition and is limited to 10 copies.
The Porsche P39 40SE has received significant changes under the hood. British engineers have equipped the 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine with new turbochargers, improved intercoolers, an Inconel exhaust system, and an upgraded engine control unit. These upgrades increased power to 900 horsepower, according to Motor1.com.
Record on the track
The RML confirms that the P39 40SE is a full 4 seconds faster than the 911 GT3 RS at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, clocking in at 6 minutes 45 seconds. It also accelerates to 60 million per hour 0.2 seconds faster than the standard Turbo S, reaching that mark in 4.5 seconds.
Aerodynamic improvements
Changes have also been made to the vehicle's aerodynamics. The extended wheelbase and active aerodynamic system, which allows the P39 40SE to generate up to 1,460 pounds of downforce at 150 mph, make it extremely stable at high speeds. In addition, a special Tour Mode provides ground clearance and comfort on regular roads.
Updated interior
The interior of the car has also changed. New sports seats with four-point safety belts have been installed, and the rear seats have been replaced with a part of the safety frame, giving the interior a more aggressive look and functionality for track racing.
Limited edition
The Porsche P39 40SE will be available in only 10 copies, each of which is made in the exclusive Ruby Red color. The cost of the car is 495,000 pounds sterling (more than 26 million UAH), not including the cost of the donor 911 Turbo S.
