Special Halloween edition: a short film based on the "Sing" film has been released on Netflix
A new short film Sing: Thriller, which continues the adventures of the characters from the Sing cartoon. This time, the characters are throwing a party where they perform Michael Jackson's iconic song Thriller.
However, the events take a mystical turn when the party host Clay Calloway, and his guests are turned into dancing weirdos, according to the Netflix announcement.
The film was directed by Garth Jennings, who also worked on the previous installments of Sing. He noted that working on the adaptation of Jackson's classic hit was an extraordinary creative experience for the team.
Producer Chris Meledandri emphasized that the film aims to both enchant fans of the original and interest a new audience.
The new film features the return of all the main voice actors, including Matthew McConaughey, Scarlett Johansson, Tori Kelly, and Nick Kroll. Viewers can watch Sing: Thriller" on Netflix right now. The trailer is available on the platform, inviting viewers to the new musical show.
The short film was created especially for Halloween and is part of a series of "not too scary" holiday movies that Netflix offers this season.
